Radiographs have come a long way in the past decade. Our radiograph equipment is digital allowing us higher quality images, abilities to email images to specialists for complex cases, and many different tools that the old film version did not.

On what occasions would an ultrasound be required for cats?

Radiology is a vital tool in diagnostics, an ultrasound allows better definition in soft tissue (organs & intestines). We often use radiographs and ultrasound together to get an overall image of the body systems.
